Science - The Tech behind Timekeeping & Access Control

… of the 2,000+ BIPA cases filed in Illinois TODAY - 90% of them are HR (Timekeeping) and Physical Security (Access Control) cases like Great America, BNSF Railway, White Castle etc. Listen to experts FROM THE HUMAN RESOURCE and SECURITY MARKETS as we discuss BOTH biometric use cases for consensual AID2entry access permission to “clocking in” and “allowing access to doorways” at the office. Let’s begin to LEARN why we should be getting BOTH sides of these business units (HR & SECURITY) TOGETHER so they are “on the same page” to limit the amount of future BIPA lawsuits.

Legal & Privacy Landscape

Is it really possible to make access to BOTH our physical & digital worlds SAFE and CONVENIENT?

We are seeing new AID2entry options being introduced in our personal & professional lives everyday BUT are we walking into a “Minority Report / 1984 / Terminator” world where we are giving up our privacy, trust & consent?

The most controversial issue around the use of biometrics is the privacy, trust & consent we must have to move forward with new identity technology.

Privacy, Trust & Consent (PTC) must be gained by our society in order to explore new methods of physical & online access and identity permissions.

This panel will discuss the past, present & future legal & privacy issues behind BIPA and thoughts/ideas on the use of new AID2entry solutions.
